Sokhna Port receives the first ship belonging to the Chinese CULines

The ship CUL YANGPU, carrying 1930 equivalent containers, arrived from the port of Ningbo in China, passing through East Asian ports to settle in Sokhna Port in Egypt.

The local commercial team at DP World’s ports welcomed the ship’s crew and presented a commemorative shield to the ship’s captain in celebration of receiving the Chinese line ship, which docked for the first time at an Egyptian port.

CULines plans to increase its direct routes from Chinese ports to Egypt through Ain Sokhna Port by operating a weekly trip starting from next May. The new service will also facilitate Chinese traders’ access to African markets through Sokhna Port.
